Capcom Street Fighter 3 - 2nd Impact complete system
« on: November 28, 2004, 01:15:12 am »
I purchased a SF3 (formerly primal rage) cabinet recenlty that was completely working.  Upon opening it, It has a complete Capcom CPS 3 system inside.  their is a board, cartridge, and cdrom drive with the CD and original case. Also has the manual.

Since I am planning to purchase a j-pac to convert this to mame, I don't think I will need any of the stuff mentioned above.  Can someone confirm this?

Also, any idea what the whole setup would be worth? Shoudl I sell the board with the cartidge and CD/Drive? or just sell the CD and cartridge and keep the Jamma board?  I checked on ebay, but could not find an equivalent setup for sale there.

Thanks!

Which release of Street Fighter 3 is it?  If its the first release then I've seen it go from $50.00 way low to $150.00.  I've not found any of the 3rd Strike, but thats because its in much more demand.

Thats popular stuff. You'll need none of it for your conversion.

Take pictures of it working and of the stuff itself and list it on ebay. Save your money and start it out for nothing, it will fetch a good price. Starting it out high is just going to cost you more money.

prices of japanese CPS3 kits (kit being CPS motherboard SCSI CD drive, security cart, game cd and artworks)
JoJo 1 = $80
JoJo2 = $100

Warzard (japanese version) = $100 - $150
Red Earth (US version of Warzard) RARE ?$?$?$?$?

SF3 new gen = $90
