Jukebox Folder Question

I have a hopefully simple question about using a jukebox program in a Mame cabinet.

Currently I am using Wincab and it is not working too bad

Is there a jukebox program out there that will let me select a source folder upon startup?  or let me select a "type" of music?

Here is my problem

My wife likes her Christmas music, but I don't want to have to wade through all of it just to find what I want to listen to.  I want to be able to select like "Christmas" or the folder that it is contained in.  So, she can listen to her music when she wants and I can select mine too

 
I hope I am making sence.  Thanks for any help you can provide

I think Arcade Jukebox 8 has that feature...

You could simulate it with WinCab by creating two jukebox.ini files and having a batch file that renames one to jukebox.ini and loads WinCab, but that's a but clunky... I guess I should have command-line options to override INI file settings for this sort of thing...

My own jukebox (Arcade Music Box) does that (find the another thread for that). This is just a simple folder based jukebox program, that is a "overlay" of MS Explore in fullscreen (which still use a start folder).

Did you test all new jukeboxes in the past? There are now about 4 new arcade jukebox applications now, that all suited different cabs.....  [edit] and the all old jukeboxes in the link below.

Space Fractal, this is the second or third time I've read this from you.  I'm not mad or anything at you, I just want to point people to the (click the underlined section to go to the link) Jukebox Software List thread by Saint that gives screenshots and overviews of A TON of Jukebox software

It'll help folks more if they aren't under the impression that there's only 3 or 4 jukeboxes out there, when in actuality, of the dozen or more programs, there simply HAS to be something that will fit that one "gotta have" feature that a person is looking for.

We should compile a new and maybe meanstream a new homepage about all arcade software jukeboxes, what they do and not to do.

One thread for new releases, like these 4 (and more), and leave the software list thread for the rest (I guess Josh did have looked on that thread, before asked).

Or maybe, you can just make a 2 WinCab installs, and start the one from the mamewah (or what you now use)?

The jukebox software I created allows the user to assign genres they create (in your case "Christmas") to individual songs.
