Arcade wheels fall into two categories (mostly).

Optical (hooks up with Optipac).
POT based (hooks up with an AKI board).

There are quite a few different pedal designs, some of which are unusable*. But most of them just have a POT in them and can hook up with an AKI.

There are also assorted hacks available as well.

*Some pedals are optical and have a certain amount of positions (like the Turbo one), as far as I know these are not usable in Mame, unless you modify them to either turn a pot or press a button.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

I've had thoughts about using a clamp similar to the clamp on a bicycle seat base in conjunction with those tops that they used to have on the old fire extinguishers....they were round and looked like a wheel....and being able to put that on a spinner...on the fly. Anyone ever see anyone do something like this or have done it themselves? I'd love to see any examples.
