Use either lightgun  1 in your ini file or put -lightgun on your command line arguments.

Later,
dabone

(Now if someone can tell me how to get both of mine working at the SAME time under mame)

To get both guns working you have to use MameAnalog+

I have both of mine working perfectly under Analog+

Can you send me or post your ini file?

Also, what version of analog are you running and what operating system?

Make sure lightgun support is enabled.  Also, if you are running Command Line, make sure you are loading Windows and running from a Windows DOS Box with the USB Drivers installed.   Many USB Devices do not work in Pure DOS.

I am running WinXP and my ini file has both light guns enabled with auto reload. I have the latest version of Analog+ which I believe is .76 or something.

All of the changes were made once Analo+ was started in the controls section. I just had to tweak a few settings in some of the gun games to get both guns to work.

Would you mind posting your mame.ini and at least one of the gun games ctrl file so I can get a clue as to what I'm doing wrong.

If I use a current version of mame or just enable dual lightgun in mame.ini, both my guns are mouse button 0, and they both can shoot.

If I enable the analog mame lightguns and xp multimouse raw mode, I can get the different mouse buttons, (mouse 2 button 0, mouse 3 button 0) but then the guns won't move on the screen.

Help...
Please...
I've tried all the analog mame version back to .74 and I must just have a big ole brain block, because I'm just not getting it.

Thanks,
later,
dabone

Here is the portion of the analog .ini file that pertains to dual guns:
