Atari/Midway info requested
« on: September 26, 2002, 08:09:08 pm »
Hey everybody. Long time reader, first time poster. Nice to meet you all.

Anyhow, I'm building my cabinet, and I have a very slim chance to get a few authentic arcade parts. The trouble is, I need to know Midway's actual part numbers for a couple of well-known Atari arcade machine parts. Namely, the Millipede trackball, and those little, red, lighted start buttons (and the collars, which I imagine have a separate number) used in Millipede, Tempest, Centipede, etc.

Is there any chance any of you have an original owners' manual that lists such information, or can give me some ideas about where else to look? I know this is only marginally related to MAME cabs, but I'm stumped.

The below link is a list of manuals for games beginning with the letter "a".  To see a different list change the "a" to "b", "c", etc.

There is an Asteroids manual that has a complete parts list at this link.  (It had the little red start buttons.)

The following page has a link to a zip file of the Millipede manual.

Enjoy!   :D
