Bezels
« on: November 23, 2004, 12:31:19 am »
Does anyone know of a site that has bezel sizes. I have a Berzerk cab with no bezel and would hate to guess and be wrong. I'm on a tight budget and can't make costly mistakes.

Thanks
I never thought I'd own an arcade machine. Now I have 4!!!

Do you mean you have the cab in your possession?  I'm assuming that's what you mean.  In that case, just take a tape measure and measure it up.  If you're REALLY paranoid and want to make ABSOLUTELY sure you have the right size, after measuring it and getting what you think are the correct measurements, take a piece of thin cardboard, cut it to that size, and slide it in to see if you were right.  If so, you're set.  If not, trim to fit, and measure your cardboard template.

You might want to check out www.klov.com but I think if they DO happen to have bezel measurements, they'll be few and far between....pretty much a sketchy endeavor at best, I think  :-\

Check the artwork forum for "Mahuti" and see if his Artwork Repository has that bezel in there.  If it does, it should either be the correct size already, or scaleable to the correct size for you.

Don't ever trust an internet source when you have the cabinet right there in front of you to measure yourself.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

That's what I was telling him, but I think he just wants another source to double check himself, although the cardboard template can just be measured twice ;)
