The top ten overused kid names in tv/movies

And now for something completely different...Overused Movie-Kid Names!

For boys, I would say Max would be number one.  Can't begin to count all the Maxes.  (Max also makes a good name for a dog, or a robot...or a robot dog even.)  Zach would be a close second.  Jake.  Josh.  Lots of shortened biblical names.

Girls in movies usually have pop-star names (Brittney, Ashley etc.), pseudo-stripper names (Brianna, Keeana, and so on), or their names are really stuffy feminine names shortened to sound like boys names ("Andy" for "Andrea", "Alex" for "Alexandra", "Chris" for "Christine", etc.)

Right?

Come on, I know those of you with kids see more than your share of cheesy kid-flicks.  There are tons of goofy names that get recycled over and over.  Help me out here!

I think the name "Hogarth" being used once in Iron Giant was more than enough. I have over heard parents calling to children by the name "Dakota" - what the hell, people are giving their kids dog names,  :P

Now you've hurt my feelings...  :'(
But I disagree with you unless your watching totally different things that I am.

I thought you were going to have a list.  Misleading subject!

First name that I thought of was Mikey.  ("Mikey likes it!")
Max is a good one though.
