Is anyone else surprised??
« on: November 17, 2004, 07:48:12 am »
So I just watched arcade 84 this morning (yes I know I should have seen it before now and should be flogged) but it really hit me the extremes people will go for in this hobby.  It was a great little video and I'm sure required a tonne of time--not too mention all the 3d renderings of cabinets etc but what really amazes me is that such a brief moment (1 or 2 years in the golden age of gaming) of our collective pasts would inspire people to that level.

In addition to this board there are literally hundreds of others created by people who love the games, the cabinets, the hardware, the software..the list goes on.   Also, it seems that anyone who starts the hobby gets swept up in it--it has a very definite crack factor... ;D
its better to not post and be thought a fool, then to whip out your keyboard and remove all doubt...
