Where can I get smoked plexiglass?
« on: November 16, 2004, 12:34:19 pm »
The topic where Oscar showed smoked plexiglass is almost two years old so it's kind of outdated now and I really don't know where to get this stuff, I called around, glass shops, home depot asking specifically for "smoked plexiglass" and no one had it. Any suggestions?

IF I can't find it, should I go with glass? If so, what thickness and what kind of tint would I ask for to match Oscar's smoked plexiglass or at least close to it? How much should that cost?

You might want to try a "plastic" shop. I called a local one in town and they had exactly what I was looking for. These guys did plastic work like display cases, molded plastic stuff, etc. Check the yellow pages under "Plastic" and you may be able to find some (or at least, they may be able to order it for you). Good luck.
