SF2 Cabinet Conversion
« on: November 15, 2004, 01:38:38 pm »
I'm looking to modify a standard Street Fighter 2 CE cabinet to be a MAME cabinet.  The monitor and controls are stilll good, so I needed to make sure I had the list of what I would need for this job correct.  I believe what I'll need is:

J-Pac (for interfacing with the JAMMA board)
ArcadeVGA board (for the monitor)
A new PC (Something on sale at Fry's with 512 RAM, DVD drive, HD, etc...)

I should be able to spend a lot of time using something like MAMEWah getting everything set up, and that will be good, right?  Am I missing something here that I'll definately need to have for this?  Thanks.

Can we see the cab? SF2 was a conversion kit, so I would be curious to see what your cab used to be before it was turned into SF2.
NO MORE!!

I'll try to get some pictures of the cab today if I can and post them.
