« on: November 12, 2004, 09:37:54 pm »
Hey. im kinda new ta all this stuuf and recently bought an mp3 player. i was wondering is there any way of connecting it up to a home stero system to play the tracks through the speakers? i was also wondering if there is any software that will name organize the id tags and stuuf automatically from the net, or if not whats the best in general for managing mp3/tags. (pref freeware :) )

Playing thru the stereo is easy.  Just a 1/8" jack, male-to-male, into either the mic port or the line-in with 1/8" to RCA.  Or you could get one of those radio transmitter dealies.

Or if you don't have a 1/8" mic or line in but do have aux rt/lt RCA in, you could use something like this:
