Vinyl adhesive

Does anyone know where to get adhesive vinyl that is wider than 2 feet (parts express) other than Happs? $5 a linear foot is a bit steep.

I'm in the same boat, as I intend to have a laminated finish as well.  I'd prefer the Happs vinyl, but I agree that $5 a foot is a bit much.  Supposedly their vinyl was on sale earlier in the year, so I keep checking every week or two.

You might head to your local Home Depot's formica aisle, as they have a 4'x8' sheet of black textured semi-gloss WilsonArt laminate for about $25 42 (sorry-I wish it was this cheap!) a sheet--it looks very nice.  I might go this route if the Happs vinyl doesn't go on sale in a reasonable amount of time.

I bought some vinyl and it looked like crap. Go to your local lumber store (not Home Depot) and they can special order 3/4 inch thick 4'x 8' sheets of black melamine for about $30 a sheet. It will give you the best finish for the cheapest price and is very easy to work with.
