Thankyou Minwah
« on: November 12, 2004, 05:50:37 am »
Just wanted to say something which I'm sure has been said a million times before but not by me. I use Mamewah as my FE for MAME and just like to say thanks for a fantastic product which is not only freeware but has such incredible support not only from Minwah but from so many other BYOAC'ers. I have just upgraded to 1.52 and all I can say is wow, seriously, just awesome. So thankyou. MAME and Mamewah has changed my life for the better. I know that sounds kinda lame but hey what the hell.

Just have to chime-in on this one as well.

I'm in the early stages of setting up the software/controls for my MAME cab and I'm MAMEWAH as the FE. Although I had never used it before, I had MAMEWAH installed and running in less than 5 minutes, and have been tickering/learning ever since.  Support has been great and despite my many newbie related 'help' messages Minwah has been exceedingly helpful and patient.

This is a great hobby due in large part to the efforts of developers and their continued generousity in providing both free software and support. Thanks to these folks 'the game is never over'!

Yeah, it's the best front end I have ever used, and the guy even answers questions on the board(when not repetitive!)

I don't even use MAMEwah (ducks head), but I would like to say thanks for all the hardwork Minwah does and all the useful replies even on unrelated subjects!

From what everyone says, it's a great frontend.

Mamewah and Minwah are the greatest. :)
When I had a small annoyance, Minwah looked into it even though he never encountered it. Within the next day he emails me a fixed version. Thank you Minwah.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.  Sometimes it's pretty difficult to find the motivation to do this stuff - nice to hear the effort is worth it :)
