Jukebox/Mame cab for sale

I built myself a jukebox this past summer and after getting it down the basement into the family room I've determined that it's way too big for such a small room!    So I'm selling the cabinet and building a wallbox juke instead.  Here are a few pics: http://home.earthlink.net/~appleton71/images/juke/

The PC, amp, eq and cp buttons will not go with the cab.  The 19" Gateway monitor and Fisher 100 watt 3 way speakers will be included.  The monitor has some scratches on the screen but they aren't really too noticeable when there's an image displayed.  The cabinet is approx. 60" tall, 30" deep and 25" wide.  It's made out of 3/4" particle board and has a removable shelf inside.  The cp is made of 14 ga steel and is formed with a nice big radius to match the profile of the cabinet.  It pivots down for easy access to wiring/button connections.  The speaker grill is removable.  The cabinet is on wheels.  It could easily be converted to a Mame machine.

I never did get around to completing the cabinet...it was going to have a cp overlay and a printed monitor bezel along with a couple other minor items.  If there's any interest I can take better pics and give more of a description.  I'm looking for any reasonable offer...and it will have to be picked up at my home in Kimberly, WI.  

I'll give it a couple weeks on here...if it doesn't sell I'll try a single shot on eBay.  If that doesn't work, it will meet Mr. Sawzall.

Dude, list that sucker COMPLETE in the jukebox section on ebay and be willing to ship and watch how high it goes.

If I didn't need half the stuff that's in it for my wallbox I would sell it complete.

The difference in price between complete and partial will be enough to buy that stuff multiple, multiple time.

An incomplete unit is valued only as parts. A complete unit is worth much, much more.

Example, I sold a MAME cabinet at auction recently for $800. I had roughly $300 invested in it.

Had I decided "I really need the buttons, computer and speaker for my next project" it would have promptly sold for $50, maybe $100.

I have seen countless incomplete mame cabinets sell on ebay for nothing (never seen one meet reserve).

You'd be really lucky to get $100 if you gut the dang thing, but I bet you'll get $800+ for it if you take good pictures, show it working and what not.

You know, I'd be thrilled to get $100 for it stripped.  I'd actually be happy with $75.  The only parts I spent any money on are the wood, glass, Happ bezel and casters.  The monitor was on a skid of 12 monitors that I bought for $9.99 and I've had the speakers sitting around for years.

Ok...got some better pics of the cab now that I got my own camera.    The stuff on top of the cabinet isn't included.  I'd be willing to give this thing away rather than chucking it if someone wants to pick it up.

I'm very Interested, and not that far away (Waupaca/Stevens Point Area).  The thing would be the buttons on the cp, those look like custom holes.  If you know a dealer that  I could get the exact same ones, or if we could work something else out, I think I could take it off your hands.  Are you going be around the friday/weekend after Thanksgiving?  I'd still like to see it in person, possibly hear the speakers before I can say forsure that I'd take it, but right now I don't see why not.

Let me know what you are thinking.

Definitely is a nice cab. I know it gets said a lot but the pictures didn't do it justice.  The craftsmanship is top notch, and so is the craftsman himself.  I'm extremely lucky to have been in the right place at the right time. 

With a little time spent on the cp, this machine will be bumping  again.   Just one of the details that was not mentioned or really shown from the pictures is a hand hold recess cut in the bottom the wrapped around cp (was really helpfull in moving this around).  As we all know it's the details that make a project and this one had it spades.  If  you ever get a chance to work with Mr. Appleton yourselves you'll know what I'm talking about.
