MAME Trackball Problem
« on: November 07, 2004, 08:46:45 pm »
I can not seem to get my trackball to work in MAME.  It works perfectly in windows and in Mamewah.  It is hooked up to an opti-pac USB.  Is there a setting that I have to change somewhere to get it to work in the games?

Thanks for any help you can provide
Josh

The only mame.ini I can find is in my mamewah folder.  Is this the correct one?

There is no reference to mouse in the file.  Is this something I need to add?

Where would I add it to?

Thanks for all the help

You need to make a mame.ini in your mame folder if you don't have one.

Run mame -cc

I still can't begin to comprehend WHY mame doesn't COME with the default ini file.

Or it would be cool if it did a 'mame -cc' by just double-clicking the exe...
