Horizontal size adjustments
« on: November 06, 2004, 01:45:21 pm »
I have a Thomson TV in my cabinet, and I'm using an ArcadeVGA with a VGA-SCART connector. I've finally been able to find out the way to access the service menu of my TV, so now I can control screen size and position. There are many options in the menu that I don't know what they are for. There are several which seems to adjust vertical size (I notice no difference between them), but none for adjusting horizontal size (only position). Is this a limitation of TVs? If not, why is it not present in the menu? Would I be able to control horizontal size by opening the case of the TV and using some internal control? Thanx.
