Is the MK 64 easy to use

A guy i know has one that he said he'd sell me for cheap, but its gotta be easy to use, cause im stupid for the most part.  IS teh software comparible with say ipac and keywiz software?

as far as keyboard encoders go is does the job and gives you tonnes of inputs but it is not even close to being as easy as the ipac or keywhiz--it took me awhile to get mine configured and it seems to lose the keyboard passthrough on occasion.  but if its cheap--what have you got to lose?  If you don't buy it--I would buy another one--as I'm always looking for cheap keyboard encoders.  let me know if you need specific info--configuration etc.

Well, the software is available here: http://www.mk64.com/ron/down.html So you can download it and read about it for yourself.  It's nowhere near rocket science, but it's not the I-PAC and KeyWiz software either.  If you can get around in DOS and can work command-line MAME, it's about at that level.  If you can't do that . . .

Then again, the MK64 saves it's settings, so you could get a friend to set it up for you and you shouldn't need to worry about it after that.

As far as price, I think the last ones sold went for around $55-60 new, so you might be able to base the value on that.
