Mortal kombat control layout
« on: November 02, 2004, 09:17:42 pm »
I was wondering if anyone new the exact button spacing and joystick location used for mortal kombat II. I know most people use about a 1 1/2" button spacing & another 3" to the joystick but I love the feel of the MkII controls and want to duplicate them exactly only with six buttons + 1 neo geo style lower button. So if you happen to know the locations or are lucky enough to own a original MkII capinet please pass the dimensions on to me. Thanks

I just sent you a scan of the layout out of the MKII manual.  Let me know if you didn't get it or have any questions.

Hey Raleigh, is the scan too large to post on here?  I'd be interested in that layout as well.  Let me know.

No it is not too large (159k) and not the best as a matter of fact.  I just don't know if there would be any copyright issues or anything.  I emailed you a copy, let me know if you didn't get it.  I am more than willing to send it to anyone who needs it if you pm me your email, just don't know about posting the file here.
