Well this is my third attempt at a mini cab. Prior cabs made it to the playable stage and were never fully completed. Then an outta state move forced me to put it in storage.
Of course after visiting this forum i was bit again and had to start again

Im trying to keep this as clean and simple as possible. The end cab will have one joystick with 7 buttons (ina SF/neo config), coin,start and a esc button.
Will more than likely go with the Atomic style marquee found here;

and a simple cp art to match the marquee (thinking the backround image used in the marquee)

I dig it. Actually, how about you hook a brotha' up with some dimensions? I've been meaning to build a mini but I'm not too crazy about the minimame instructions out there. I'd like something simple.

Easily the slickest minicab I've seen yet! Looking forward to seeing it finished.

This cab is super simple to make. I used 4 of the 2'x4' precut mdf sheets sold at Homedepot since I have no truck to transport the full sheets. Ill post the dimesions within a few days since I need to measure them.

Well there is a reason for attract mode and no controls. Prevous cabs have only made it to just bearly playable stage and were not completed. This way its teasing me the whole time for me to finish it

Once again this cab is for the non woodworker, non truck owning, limited living space, just own a jigsaw and a power drill, have less than 200 dollars for a cab builder.

Ill post dimensions and materials lists if peeps are interested.

So with you saying you used 2' x 4' sheets, did you just cut out that rotated "L" for each side..... so there are only 2 lines to cut for the sides? If so, that is very cool, sounds simple indeed.

I'd love to see some dimensions/parts lists also. I have a full size and bartop in the works, this could be a nice midground project.... haha....

No, I can't even pretend to make this, I haven't even finished the other 2.......but please do share the dimensions.

Looks cool, I'd love to see the dimensions as well please

I've just finished reading "Project Arcade", which I highly recommend BTW, and was looking for a nice simple (read easy"ish") design because I haven't done any woodworking since I was 16, mumble-mumble-cough years ago

. I wanted to build a "mini" in any case so this looks like it could be perfect for me.

Lets just hope I still have all my fingers by the time I've finished

Also did you take any photo's during the build? Those would be interesting to see a well if you have any.

OK, My manual technical drawing skills are a bit rusty, So dont laugh at my 3d not to scale models

Ive seen people post scanned drawings as txt and then just have people rename them, gonna give that a try.

Lemme know if I missed anything. I will later post a picture of cab before I painted it so u can get a better idea on how simple its was put together.

Since It was real simple and went up fast I didnt think people would bother with my build pics

I did take a few pics of the inside and some unpainted ones that ill post later.

Drawings look great to me! This looks like a great cab for someone with little ones and not too difficult for a beginner.
