CP Layout Help!!
« on: October 30, 2004, 03:26:18 am »
Someone with CP layout skills, I need your assistance!

My CP layout is pretty basic (2 P360s, SF 6 button layout, 1P and 2P start) and I can't get the spacing right to fit a 2.25 trackball in there with the mounting plate. The mountable space is 22.75 x 11.

I've tried fitting it together several times with little luck. Can someone "show me how it's done?"

In a space 22.5" * 11" it's going to be all but impossible

The smallest I'ves squeezed it into is around 30" wide I believe, the 11" depth could probably be doable, I think mine is only 15" WITH a 4-way at the top, so that shouldn't be a problem

But, I can't imagine shaving 8-10 plus inches off the width...

Yup. The most I can come up with is space for like a 4x4 mounting plate in the middle, and that's with the sticks and buttons being real cozy-like!

Hey, you can try and mount the trackball without a mounting plate. This can be done, that'll save you some space, or try and make your own small mounting plate.

I've seen some people that make their own mounting plate...
