ps2 jamma problem
« on: October 22, 2004, 12:02:59 pm »
Hey guys maybe you can help me out. I recently did the modification to my xbox to connect it to my arcade cabinet. That works fine after a two days of frustration hehe .  My problem is this.

The Scart cable i have is universal for all systems, (they all share the same layout to the output end of the cable. My xbox works fine but when i try to use my playstation 2 the screen is displayed but it is all green tone. Looks like it lacks red and blue or just red color. I have double check the cable and everything is connected correctly except that the ground im using is on pin 1. I did see that "Video ground" is on pin 8 on playstation but that ground is not on the trace so im using pin 1 ground. Would this have a effect on the screen? i dont want to hack the  end up again since the xbox was a pain and its a total mess now. All RGB lines have 220 capacitors on them so im not sure whats up. Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance.
