i think its just the coolness factor.. plus it kind of defeats the purpose.
if i dont put the wingnuts back in (which i dont) I can rotate my monitor is less than 30 seconds. but i would like to be able to do it without opening the hood. the handle would then by that logic need to be outside the cabinet, which would be visually unappealing.
another issue that i think has not been adressed by the individuals whom have gone this route is a mechanically adjustable bezel..
many of these individuals simp[ly have their monitors behind smoked glass so its a non issue, but in the EGRET that will not be the case..
working in a machine shop,ive naturally gravitated to looking at Telescopic bedway covers as a workaround for this issue.
4 sets of independant bedway covers actuated by independant 3 inch stroke linear actuator. that should be more than sufficient to reconfigure the bezel in tandom with the monitor rotation.. not to mention look cool as sh*t
