sorry if its been asked a million times is there a cheaper alternative to buying an ipac or hacking a keyboard?
when adding arcade buttons to my mame pc?

You can't get much cheaper than hacking a keyboard--unless you stop to consider how much your time is worth.
If you don't need USB, the KeyWiz is a good alternative.

I would love a I-pac some day but I had 10 sidewinders fall into my lap for next to nothing. Sidewinders are EZ and cheep to hack
