7/8" Tubular Locks
« on: October 11, 2004, 07:46:56 pm »
I much prefer these locks to the regular keyed kind.  The round ones are the locks I remember being on machines when I was younger, so to me they are more authentic.  Just posting for those who remember and/or prefer these.

Wow...good deal on the locks, bad deal on the shipping, unless you buy a whole bunch.

I have access to these locks as well, and I'd do a lot better on the shipping.  Any interest?

Great, now you tell me.  ;)

Yeah, the shipping is kinda off but I did order a few so it wasn't so bad.  If I do get more (which I know I will) I'll definitely look to you first.

Out of curiosity, what would be the total price for like 6 or 9 shipped?  Thanks.

If I can get enough interest, $5.00 each shipped, no matter the quantity.

I'd be interested in 3 locks, keyed alike if possible. Now these are with the round keys, correct?

Depending on the timing of getting enough people together to order, I'd be in for at least 4.

Well, that's seven-ish so far.  And this thread is new, so I'm sure we'll see all 50 quite soon.

If anyone wants single and double bitted locks, keyed alike, I've got them on my site, under 'security.'

I'd be interested in a few keyed alike. I might like to  have them on hand for future projects.

Peale,

I'm in  for 4...no make it 6 locks.  BTW, do you have access to the keyless locks that Happs is now selling?  They are marketed as a way to prevent doors from opening during shipping but I would rather have these than the keyed ones at my house.

I hadn't seen those before... those would be good for back doors on home cabinets...

I don't have access to them - yet.  It looks like this is just a substitute for a lock until an op can put one on.

I was just about to place an order from you, Peale.  I'm interested in 2 of these locks (if they'd be in pretty soon).  Any idea how long it would be?

Thanks,
Ryan

Has additional interest died off?  Remember, I'd like a non-firm say-so of around 50 locks to consider this.

Put me down for two please!

I was just noting that the site states I am out of stock.  I'm not!  People must be putting them in their shopping carts, but not actually buying them.

I've got a couple of outstanding orders that I need to fill, then I'm going to update the quantities.

People, please - if you're going to buy, please do, but don't put the stuff in your cart if you're not going to actually buy it.  There's a bug in the shopping cart software that takes the inventory out when you put it in your cart, but doesn't replace it if you don't actually order.  It'll hopefully be fixed next release, but I'm not holding my breath.
