i pulled for the sox when they were playing the yanks just cuz i hate the yankees.  and i pulled for the sox in the world series...just so boston fans will shut up about the stupid curse!  i swear thats all you hear in baseball.  the excuse for choking, or losing is because of a "curse"...thats retarded.  in that case...

i havent won the lottery yet because my great great grandfather dropped one down the sewage drain, and then a ground ball went through his legs....thats the reason i havent won yet!!

Well....here in St. Louis we're not all that excited about it.  And I'm gonna have to agree (as I almost always do) that boobies are great.

People here are killing me.  They sound like cubs fans... "just wait til next year".

whatever, the Cards had a great year, and although they couldn't prove it when put in the National Spotlight...they were the best team in baseball this year.

oh dear lord....why is the curse thing blasted over the news and sports networks then?  i mean, yeah it makes for interesting news, but people always have signs up in Boston about it being "our year", and all the yankees fans have babe ruth stuff all over the place...it just gets old.  i mean, props to the red sox for FINALLY managing to not choke, but all this curse crap just gets old.  

and im not an @$#^@hole or anything like that, i may be a @#$#%tellthetruthhole, but thats about it.

GREAT!  I finally venture back to the forums....and even though my team lost..I'd still rather see people gloating about how the cardinals DID NOT Look like the best team in baseball.  We looked tired and beat before the series ever really started.   It was a terrible world series.  For 2 teams with as great a history as the Cards and the Sox, I expected a much better series.  I don't know if their pitching was that good, or the Cards hitting all slumped up at the same time...or if our pitching FINALLY fell apart just a week too soon...but I'd rather talk about baseball in a baseball post.  

and I'm voting for Kerry!  

I simply can not WAIT until this stupid election (yes, I realize it's very important and not stupid..but that doesn't really fit with the rant) is over.

Truth is, Boston has the best fans in the world. The people of New England support our teams very well. And yes, we are fanatics (that's where the term "fan" comes from...). We are very involved and care deeply about our teams.
We have been able to enjoy many great teams and players.
Boston is a sports town and we are proud of it.
Walk down any street in Boston and tell me how long it takes to find someone wearing a hat proudly displaying the Sox, Pats, Bruins or Celtics logos.

We also love rivalries, has there ever been any other rivalry close to matching the Red Sox/Yankees? NO

We have waited a long time for this, and honestly we don't know what to do...
Just let us enjoy it for a while, we won't shut up, we may just be a little quieter.

We are having a parade tomorrow for the Sox, after that we can rest on Sunday and watch the Pats go for 21 in a row!

alright, didnt say that boston has dumb PEOPLE...as in "stupid people", i just said they have dumb fans.  sure you are fanatics, i just think it was extremely stupid to blame stuff on a curse.  i mean, that just drenched the sports headlines every freakin year that the red sox lost.  

i am a kentucky fan (born and raised), so you can give me all that crap about boston and fans and stuff, but i could say the same gay stuff you did "walk down the streets of lexington and tell if you dont see tons of people wearing UK stuff".  yeah thats any state.  UK basketball is great, but they dont win the championship every year.  in fact they have choked in the past few years, so i guess i'll just blame that on a curse!  oh no!  UK has only won one championship under tubby smith and that was with rick pitino's team...tubby is cursed!!!!    that would be retarded to say something like that.  boston is not cursed, and never was...theres no such thing....they just have sucked or choked over the years.  

i love the bills, but they suck.  they lost to the cowboys in the super bowl 2 years in a row, so yeah that sucked, but im not going to blame it on a curse or anything dumb like that.  props to boston for winning, but damn....shut the hell up now.
