I believe Spectrum use to make a steering wheel that actually clipped onto your mouse and used it to steer.  Does anybody know about this, and did it work with all PC driving games or certain ones?  Did it have special software you needed to load which allowed it to be seen as a game controller?   Still looking for a way to get my Pole Position Steering wheel (Oscar's mouse hack) to work with PC games.

Thanks.

i noticed in the pc driving games i run like 'test drive 6' there isnt a setting for mouse in the controls options. most pc driving games are probably setup for either keyboard or  potentiometer based driving controls. it does recognize a dual strike controller though. maybe do a google search for pc driving games compatible with mouse steering.
