Missile Command Cabinet Resto Update
« on: October 09, 2004, 03:37:08 pm »
Well, the going has been slow since those other aggravating priorities in life have taken over.  Today I finally got to work on it some more.  Installed the top, plexi cover, marquee and other odds and in.  Of course the monitor , marquee and glass have to come back out to prime and paint.....

looking really nice tim. keep up the good work.

Isn't it annoying how stuff like jobs, school, and women get in the way of our hobbies?  :P

That yellow thing behind the cabs can be as important as video games, for  escaping the cruel realities of life!  ;)

Looking very good on the restoration!  Keep us updated on the continued progress.

Tim,
I was able to replace the vinyl on the front, top and back of my Missile Command with the Vinyl that parts express sells.  I was reading how Kelsey at OscarControls restored a Centipede cab with the same stuff and it was impressed with the results.  Needless to say I picked some up for myself and was very impressed on how exact of a match it was. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=260-018
Thanks
Charlie
