Shift problems with Ipac VE
« on: October 03, 2004, 07:06:38 am »
Hi all,
I just set up my CP or the first time and it works great.
But i have a problem with the shift function.
It doesnt work somehow.
i have tried to programm, but it doesnt change anything in the shiftfunctions area =(
I want the Esc,Tab,Enter and Pause as shifted buttons.
How will I make it work?
Should i use a special button for shift?
How do I exactly set a new shift code in the new WinIpac?
In the old version u could asign a special shift button, cant find that option in the new version?!
The old version i have on my cab computer, but it doesnt finish the download and on my XP computer the old version says the Ipac is not conneted, with the new version he finds it and is able to download, but there i have the stated above problem...
If someone could help me, so i will be finally independant from my keyboard =)
I have a 2 Player set up with 4 Player2 buttons and 6 Player1 buttons(testing the final layout atm ;-)
Thanx all for help!

If you can take a look at www.ultimarc.com/ipac2.html under the heading in the troubleshooting section "loss of shift functions" this should help. In particular the self-test LED will be a help here. If no joy drop me an email: andy@ultimarc.com
