MP3 feature on Discman

I just bought a new cd walkman with an MP3 feature on it. From what I can understand, with this feature you can listen to cd's that you burn yourself, with at least 150+ songs on it. How do you make a cd like this? thanks!!!

LAME is an open source mp3 encoder.

And there are numerous free software packages out there for burning the songs to CD.

Burn a CD full of MP3s as a DATA CD (not an AUDIO CD). Pop it in and it should play them. Once you verify it works, use MACCC to make a nice CD insert for it:
