Lokking for a mame cabinet. I have the pc and a tv. I live in Orland Park so anything within an hour drive would be great.

Put an ad in the newspaper that reads :

"Wanted : arcade machines in any condition, will pay $25-50"

See if maybe there are some people that want to clear out their basements.

Groovy?

You live the Chicago Area?
Put an ad in rec.games.video.arcade.marketplace (use google groups) and sit back.
Also, look at www.namcoarcade.com for used NEOGEO's...no body cares about them  :P

Does www.namcoarcade.com really have Neo-Geo machines?  I have been looking there for some time and have never seen a Neo Geo--have you seen one lately?

I've never seen any Neo Geos on Namco, either. Seen alot of Midway cabs, though. *drool*

Unfortunately I think they only sell (or at least only list) working games. That fine if you don't have your own monitor, but if you've got your own then it sort of defeats the purpose.

what kind of cab?  Stand up, prolly, but does it matter what it used to be?  Joystick/button based, driving, 2 player, 4 player?  I'm in Milwaukee area, may have something you can use.

Cheep, they sell for $8000 on e-bay  ;D  JUST KIDDING!

Hmmm.
I looked for Under $499 in Illinois.  Saw a couple metal slugs in there.
