Speaker Bezel
« on: September 22, 2004, 11:24:25 am »
Does anyone know where I could actually get a speaker bezel? I dont' want to put a grill on the speakers that I have b/c they already have a non-detachable grill. I was thinking I could use the monitor bezel concept and find something for the speakers? what do you guys think?

Are the speaker grilles square?

Maybe a picture would help, I'm not entirely sure what you want to do.

I should have specified, but yes, they are square. Here's a link to a picture of them...

I haven't seen anybody make speaker bezels before, but I don't see why you couldn't make one similarly to a monitor bezel.

How are you fixing the speakers into your cab tho?  I think personally I would lose the front part of the plastic case with the grille on, mount the rest behind your speaker panel and mount some kind of grille in front of the speaker panel.

I was going to mount the speakers in complete. I have 2 holes cut for a perfect fit. I was originally thinking of creating a bezel(where could i get vinyl or some chromes stripping for that?) but I suppose a grille would work too. It just looked rather difficult to get the current speaker grille removed. however I think I may go that route now. Where could I pick up a speaker grille that size from?

Thanks again.

If you're in the US I can't help you - anyone else?
