Just before I paint....need advice
« on: September 21, 2004, 08:31:46 pm »
OK guys. Finished a restore and its turned out great. Just finished drilling the holes for my control panel and I think i am ready to paint. I did not want to paint prior to finishing all the "construction work". I have holes for the speakers, contols, the light is in, the monitor is ready to go in, i have a hole for the cable, .....

Anyone suggest something i may have left out cause i dont want to drill after i have painted. Thanks.

Also...one thing i overlooked was that i am using 3/4 mdf on my control panel. When i mount my jousticks in, MCA's , I loose some lenght on the sticks. Any way around this, or to extend them? Thanks again

To lengthen the sticks you can rout(er) the back side of the control panel.
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen
