Act Labs Gun hElp Needed (ALGEN)
« on: September 06, 2002, 03:46:47 pm »
Seemed like it's coming up enought that it needs a word associated to it.

Help!  I need ALGEN!

I just got my gun (at lunch...so I didn't eat... but tried to get it installed).

I plugged it in and booted... black screen (expected) until windows came up.

Then I installed some HMI drivers... and nothing...

then I removed all my HMI drivers (didn't know what one it was...) lost my mouse and started over.

then I removed the gun completely from the system and rebooted.

I reinstalled my mouse drivers... then it installed the act labs HMI again??? what??? it isnt' installed???

This time it acts like it works... but I only get white at the top 1/3 of an inch of the monitor (standard monitor... CV70 I think).  And pressing the button shows the white at the top and moves the cursor to the top left.

Then I changed monitor driver... no difference... resolution... bpp... refresh...  all doing 100% the same.

btw, running a NVidia Geforce2mx video card with the latest drivers for 98.

Any clues?
