Stumbling at the finish line...
« on: September 19, 2004, 04:36:31 pm »
Well,

I'm at the finish line! My control panel is all wired up and looks good. One problem though, when I hit the "program" button in the I-Pac interface, I get a an error message saying "device not found".

I don't understand why I'm getting this because it registers all of my active joysticks and buttons. The only thing I'm afraid might be causing it is that I have some extra buttons that I'm not activating, because there's not enough room in the i-pac for them (Although I havent given these buttons active wiring, they are still wired into the "ground" along with the other buttons)

Anybody have any ideas why I might be having this error message?

Thanks.

if you have other USB devices plugged in, unplugged them. That helped when I got the same error. You are using the latest winipac, right ?
