kds monitor as a tv?
« on: September 14, 2004, 04:15:18 pm »
I have an htpc (home theater pc) built, that does just about everything i want, except gaming! If i connect through component input, my tv (20" sony trinitron) only supports a resolution of 640X432 which most games do not support. I was thinking of using a 21" KDS monitor as a TV instead, its bigger than my current TV, but is not flat screen. Obviously I would need to build some kind of frame for it and take it out of the metal case. Just wanted to see what you guys think, or if anyone has ever tried to watch TV on one of these.
