Can I use short leaf-based buttons on my 3/4" MDF CP?
« on: September 12, 2004, 08:09:26 pm »
I know this is a silly question but I have the opportunity to get some short clear translucent leaf buttons and wanted to know if anyone has gotten these to work with a 3/4" control panel.

Thanks,
Todd

yes but you will need to cut out some of the wood.

The first one I did was  simply use a large spade bit and drill out most of the wood from the back.
I made 3 drill cuts ( not going all the way through)
the flip the cp over and drill you button hole.

short and dirty but works.
