Cabinet Controller help.

Greetings everyone, I am new here, so forgive me if this is not the proper place to be posting this...

I recently began the project of building my own arcade cab based on the Ultimate Arcade II plans.

I want to get the CP out of the way first. It is odd to start with the CP first, but I am actually doing 3 cabs at once, and I have a carpenter friend who is knocking out the cabinet panels for me in his shop. However it is up to me to handle the CP.  I kinda wanted to start on that while the cabs are being done.

I was hoping that I could get some measurements from someone for the box underneath the CP. I am going to have the CP open on a piano hinge (like www.spacestationarcade.com), and I know the dimensions of the top panel, but I have really no idea of what the box underneath should be so that it mounts properly on the cab.
