Happ has been the only place I can find this (Bob Roberts doesn't stock the 2 1/4 anymore).  I've heard bad stories about Happ overcharging on shipping on top of their already high prices so I would rather not deal with them.  Anybody have one of these or know of another place I can find one?

Thanks

Unfortunately I got the one from Happs, not knowing it was a different bolt pattern as compared to the Imperial trackball I had.  I would up taking my trusty rotary tool (aka dremel) and lopped off three of the bolts and got a little creative with the attatchments.

As far as other providers for the plate, I'm not too sure...just giving my two cents worth.

Bob Roberts does not carry the "bolt free" flush mount plate anymore for a reason.  I had asked him about them in the past.  It seems if you bang down on the trackball with a bit of force you can knock it down...breaking the mounts.  He said he will only carry the bolt style for durability reasons.
