Is this a matter of preference?
« on: September 06, 2004, 10:01:06 am »
Ok as you can see from my earlier post I am under way with my construction. Now I am asking if there is a general rule for how far back I need to set the top and the speaker plate for the marquee? I have 8" up and down flat no slant to it. Plus I plan to do I guess the common method of using two pieces of plexi glass and HAPP's marquee retainer. Also is it a matter of preference or should the marquee sit  flush to the edge or should it sit back an inch. Personally since my side edges are flat I guess flush to the edge will look correct. Please any help in this would go a long way as stupid as this question might be! I have no wood working skills! So far I have done well on my own! Thanks in advance for any help all you guys are very helpful.

It'll be fine.  Looks good.

If you can't be a good example at least try to be a horrible reminder.
