I know I was drooling over Hulksters showcase cab that he built a while back and I was hoping there would be some detailed plans of his or another showcase cab out there.

Anyone have some ?. I won't be able to start building for another 6 months or so (moving at the end of the year) but a showcase will be one of my first.

sorry guys. i just got married and so ive been "away" from the boards for a while. when i have time i come by and look for like 3 seconds and then i leave....so i havent exactly been devoted to the whole showcase cab plans thing. sorry. ill do some work on them now since i have some time....and ill upate you on what i have. i suck i know.

No Problems man, Congrats on the wedding, welcome to the "honey do" list generation.
I'm just more interested in getting a set of plans in the next 6 months or so. No Hurry on my end.

well actually i just sent some measurements to a guy on this board who was putting the arrows and stuff of what measurement goes with what on the pictures i have. i lost photoshop on my pc when i formatted (forgot to backup!) and now i dont have any way of making it look halfway decent. but as soon as i get those modified pics back, ill be posting them on my site....but then again, my site has limited bandwidth (very very very limited) so chances are, it will go down if i put them on there. but if that fails, you can just IM me and ill send them to you when i get them back. ill post here when i get them.

I am said guy, and will have these taken care of in short order, perhaps tonight, but if not, they'll be done sometime this week. After that, wherever hulkster can post them you'll be able to DL them.

I'll also be working on a cut list for the parts as well, hopefully it'll turn out.

hmm...newlywed bliss. yeah, well i guess we are kinda past that stage because its more like newlywed-get-lucky-maybe-if i'm in the mood-when the moon is at half quarter-on thursday's when it's raining-and after the bears win the super bowl.

I was looking at plans for 2 player cabinets...seeing how I don't usually have people over to play games that often. And I came across this thread.......and I saw the showcase cabinet. And my jaw hit the floor.

"I must have that."
That is by far, the best cabinet that I have seen. You sir, are a god.

wow....thanks for the compliments. i dont consider myself all that great in building this cab as i took the design from various cabs, and kinda molded my own, but thanks anyway!

yeah i dont have people over that much to play it either but the POSSIBILITY of having 4 player TMNT or XMen made it all worth it. plus i like a lot of elbow room....hence the 49" panel! oh, just a word to the wise, make sure you have room for a cab like this if you are going to build.

funny you mention things not fitting though doors...
i couldnt get my tv base in the room... had to shave off a small 3" peice of the back heal (not noticeable) unless u really look hard for it..
i didnt realize how big this thing is... your picture makes it seem small

awesome! how did you come by those plans? i will be interested to see what the dimensions are compared to mine. im still waiting on drewkaree to send back my measurements...but if he is like me he has other things going on. ill keep you posted. but its great that we will have two sets of plans for showcase cab builders! yours will probably be more detailed as mine are just general measurements, but still...all the better!!!

Hulkster's giving me direction for how he wants his pics set up, and after I get a few more measurements from him, I'll do a cut list, and you can use his pics w/measurements to piece out the cut list and kinda use the pics as your own "assembly guide". I think it's gonna be nicer/easier than hulkster lets on, but he's just friggen humble because he built a killer rig and doesn't have to brag...his cab speaks for itself

Sorry these are taking a little bit longer to figure out how to draw in all the dimensions than I thought. It is by far the largest cabinet I have made plans for. It's basically in 4 pieces and I'm drawing up detailed plans for each piece. The drawings themselves are all done, I'm just trying to make sure I cover all the dimensions. I should be able to have them up by tomorrow evening at the latest. I've also been working on a bunch of other cabinets that I'm going to post all at the same time as this Dynamo. You guys will see a news update on BYOAC when they are up in a day or so.
