IPAC Problem at Power On...
« on: September 06, 2004, 12:52:14 am »
Hey there.

My IPAC2 doesn't seem to be active at power on. I have to use the winipac and program it every time I restart my PC.
Anyone  know how to make it just be active all the time?

I had the same problem.  I contacted Ultimarc and he recommended mailing it back for replacement.  You might want to send him an email to see if you need a replacement as well.

I had a problem with my ipac not being reconized in windows each time i rebooted, and it was plugged in by USB at the time, so i just switched to PS2 and it worked like a charm, no more problems

Can you just plug the USB IPAC into a PS2 port??

I was wondering that to be honest!

The board is the same, it's only the cable that's different and if the I-PAC has jumpers you will need to change from USB to PS2.  I think the new ones auto-detect and so don't have jumpers.
