Rename Mp3's from CUE File

Hi guys,

Im getting an impressive MP3 collection (20,000) and i'd like to make things alot easier for myself.....I'd like to know whether there is a program that can extract the "artist and title names" from a text file (.CUE File) and put that as the file name automatically........

I don't know of one that will do that exactly, but there are plenty of free programs that will rename/retag MP3s for you. Do you actually have this .cue file or are you going to create it? If you actually have it, it may be easy enough to write a qucik programto do what you need. Other ideas are to use musicbrainz.org or some other tagger like The Godfather.

Yeah, i already have the cue files which have all the artist and track titles in there...its just the work of me having to copy & paste each one individually, which is very tedious......thanks for your help Brian!!
