Any advice on my cabinet design?
« on: September 01, 2004, 07:58:25 am »
Hi all,

I'm ramping up my design so I can start working on my first cabinet this weekend.  I'd like some advice as to what the recommended way of doing the join to the plexiglass from the CP is.   I'd also welcome input of any kind as to the overall layout and design of my cabinet!

See this autosketch drawing of the overall layout and what I mean:

Thanks!

Shaun

I'd put a piece of wood there and mount the Player 1+2 on that and probably do a little Button-Use-Pic there.
Behind the woodpanel u could do whatever with the plexiglass.

If you look at the picture, I sort of have that there already.  The wood is angled and would have to be routed on the back or something so that the plexiglass can rest on it.. anyway, not an ideal solution and I don't think it would be very sturdy.

I do like your idea of a separate control bar for decals/player start though! Gonna see if that can be worked in here as well.

Thanks,
Shaun
