i thought i remember sir poonga putting up a site that had the hacks he made for no name mame but you could put them in Advancemame? mabye im wrong but i hope not. if someone or sir poonga can tell me where these are that would be great. thanx

can someone explain what these hacks do? are they recommended for general mame users?

the skip warnings hack sounds like one i need

why aren't they included in standard mame?

Basically, the MAME devs don't want them in there b/c they don't want 1,000 posts on MAMEtesters of:

Newb:  Hey, "Screen flipping in cocktail mode is broken on Game Y".
Dev:  Duh, that's what the warning tells you when you start the game.
Newb:  Oh yeah, I turned that off, sorry. . .
