Todays lesson: Konami to JAMMA
« on: August 28, 2004, 07:56:39 pm »
I know that MOST of you are just mamin it on into the night, but I know some of you have JAMMA cabinets as well.

For those of you with vertical JAMMA cabinets I seriously suggest getting or building a Konami adaptor. There are a ton of good konami games and most of them are cheap.

I built my own adaptor out of an Arch Rivals interconnect board, but you can buy these premade too, and the premade ones look better.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Now my JAMMA cabinet can play Time Pilot '84, Super Basketball, Megazone, Road Fighter, and Scramble. There are like 60 others too, but those are the only ones I have.

I got one of these (actually 2).  It has a set of pins for the second speaker in Gyruss and also jumpers to utilize the JAMMA buttons for Track 'n Field.  It also helps that these are the two Konami boards I happen to have but I'm looking forward to getting more!
