I am wiring up my CP, basic layout is 4 sticks, 6 buttons on the 1 and 2 and 4 buttons on the 3 and 4. Ultimarc trackball and oscar spinner with 6 buttons total, 3 pairs of 2, the intention was for the pairs to be the same so that if you were on either device you could use the buttons to the left or to the right base on preference. So should I hook these pairs up to the player 1 L/R on the optipac or hook them in the the P1SW1 and P1SW2  on i the optipac?

I was origianlly going to hook them on the ipac as I was guessing that most trackball/spinner games would use the SW1 SW2 buttons by default and that I would have to remap them to use the buttons if they were tapped off the optipac.

I was asking where I should hook the buttons nest to the trackball/spinner, wither on the Ipac or Optipac. I had them on hte IPAC at locations 4SW5 and 4SW6, but moved them last night to the Optipac as the L/R Mousbuttons, which I found out were the second default fire button on alot games, so it worked out better that way since it lets me get around in windows with out a regular mouse.

this is something i was also wondering....

if you have ipac and opti pac why bother to wire any buttons to the P1 & P2 L and R connections on the opti pac?

for my trackball CP i want 3 buttons (for missile command) i was planning to wire up the buttons to SW1-3 on the ipac. is this the correct way to go?
