They probably discontinued it to focus on the TV gun.  The site seems to make it clear that the TV gun can be hooked up to either a PC or a TV, so why have a product that will do just one?  This way, they can make one product, charge one price, and be done with it.
first off your and idiot

Yeah, Here's what they said:

Unfortunately, there were production issues at the factory and we can no longer produce the Light Gun.

So, looks like we're crap out of luck............... ??? ???

Hmm, I'm using a 27" TV in my MAME cab.  So I assume I'll need their TV gun.
I don't know if I should pick one up now though or wait for their rumored new one.   :-\

The reply I got mentioned that they might bring them back in a couple months, but didn't mention anything about a new model.

Based on what I've heard, their problem is that they lost their current supplier.
My guess is that they are looking for a new supplier, and will probably reissue the same model of gun if they can find a supplier for them.

Sorry guys, this is all my fault.

See...I have just recently decided on purchasing the Act Labs Guns, and as it turns out, anything that I have ever wanted immediately goes out of production before I can get it. It's been this way forever. I should have warned you.   ;)

Sincerely,
