Maybe this is overkill, but pretending that the leaf-switch translucent buttons won't work, how hard would it be to have translucent micro-switch buttons manufactured (aside from the ones that centsible makes)?

Why not write to Happ, I'm sure if they knew they could get some good business simply by getting their manufacturers to change their plastic mix they would be interested. I would be in to order some from Happ if they started doing this.

There are some translucent microswitch buttons here, but they are competition style and not concave.
