Am I missing a cable for my OptiPac
« on: August 22, 2004, 11:27:34 am »
I ordered a few things from Ultimarc, ipac4, optipac, trackball. It came with two cables for the ipac4 but I thing that I am missing a usb cable for the optipac. I assume there should be some sort of serial to usb cable. If this is the case I know that I could get a hold of Andy and get one but is this something that I could just  get at CompUSA, BestBuy ect so that I don't have to wait for one.

I ordered a IPAC4 and jstick from ultimarc and they seem to have forgotten the ps2 cable, emailed them but didn't receive a response, they are busy people or person...anyway, it's cheap enough just to buy the cable....I think I paid like 6 bucks.

Yeah the PS2 to USB cabels are not bad price wise, but the serial to USB cables that I have found are like $30. I may just get a serial cable and run it that way.
