My first cab, a few questions...
« on: August 21, 2004, 10:04:02 pm »
I'm in the planning stage of my first arcade cab.  I'm pretty excited about making this and have a couple questions.  I'm using LuSid's plans.  They have the look that I'm going for.  I'm planning on using maple wood, but I am worried that because maple is much lighter than most other woods, will the TV make it too top heavy?  Has anyone had any experience with maple?  I'm planning on using a 25-27 inch TV.  Also, at what angle is the TV usually tilted at?  I've noticed that people have the TVs tilted backwards a bit.  I'm just curious as to what angle seems to be the best.  I guess that's it for now, although I'm sure there will be more questions later on.  Thanks.

Cool, thanks for the links.

Does anyone know if maple would make it too top heavy?
